Following the issuance of our Inception Report on April 6, 2021, to the Ministry of Justice, we continued to engage in progressive discussions with the Client and the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (“NSIA”), including the Presidential Infrastructure Development Fund (“PIDF”) Team. Part of our discussion was focused on coordinating a mutually beneficial time to visit the Project Sites.1 Accordingly, after extensive consultation with NSIA, CLEEN, and the Engineering, Procurement and Construction Contractors (“EPC Contractors”), Reynolds Construction Company Ltd (“RCC”) and Julius Berger Nigeria Ltd (“JBL”), the Introductory Site Visit was set-up for the week of June 14 – June 25, 2021. The purpose of the Introductory Site Visit, which was led by the NSIA, was to introduce the CLEEN Project Monitoring Team to the EPC Contractors representatives. We will report on the activities and outcomes of the Introductory Site Visit in our first-quarter report.
